Player Protection

Responsible Gambling

Gambling is entertainment — not a solution to financial difficulties. 666m provides a full suite of player-protection tools to help you stay in control at every step.

Our Commitment to Safe Play

At 666m, responsible gambling sits at the centre of everything we do. Whether you are following PSL T20 cricket from Karachi, placing a live bet during an ICC tournament from Lahore, or enjoying casino games from Islamabad, we want every session on 666m to be a positive, controlled experience — not a source of stress or hardship.

We recognise that for a small number of people, gambling can shift from entertainment to something more difficult to manage. That is why 666m has built a comprehensive set of player-protection tools directly into the Platform, making it straightforward to set limits, take breaks or exclude yourself entirely. These tools are always available, always free to use, and always applied immediately upon your request.

This page explains what those tools are, how to access them, and how to recognise the signs that gambling may be becoming a problem. We also encourage all users — whether you gamble regularly or occasionally — to read through this information carefully and set up whichever limits feel right for your situation.

Not sure if gambling is right for you? That is a healthy question to ask. Gambling should only ever be money you can genuinely afford to lose, treated the same way as any other entertainment spend — like a ticket to a cricket match or a night out in Lahore.

Player Protection Tools

All tools below are available directly from your 666m account settings or by contacting our support team. Changes to limits that increase your protection take effect immediately. Requests to relax limits are subject to a cooling-off period before they become active.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum amount you can deposit into your 666m account over a daily, weekly or monthly period, denominated in PKR. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Reductions apply immediately; increases require a mandatory waiting period.

Loss Limits

Cap the total amount you can lose over a defined period — daily, weekly or monthly. When your net losses reach the limit you have set, betting and casino play is paused for the remainder of that period. This is one of the most direct tools available for keeping spending in check.

Wager Limits

Restrict the maximum stake you can place on a single bet or across a session. Wager limits are particularly useful if you find yourself chasing losses with larger and larger bets — they put a structural ceiling in place so that individual stakes stay proportionate to your overall budget.

Session Time Limits

Define how long a single gambling session can last. When the time limit you set is reached, you will be logged out automatically. You can also enable reality-check pop-ups that appear at regular intervals during play, reminding you of how long you have been active and how much you have spent.

Cooling-Off Periods

Take a short break from gambling without permanently closing your account. Cooling-off periods range from 24 hours to six weeks. During a cooling-off period your account remains open but all betting, casino and deposit functionality is suspended. The period cannot be shortened once activated.

Self-Exclusion

Choose to exclude yourself from 666m for a minimum of six months, or permanently. During self-exclusion your account is suspended and you will not receive any marketing communications from 666m. Permanent self-exclusion cannot be reversed. This option is available immediately on request via your account settings or by contacting support.

How Limits Work in Practice

The table below summarises how each protection tool behaves when you set or adjust it. Understanding these rules helps you use the tools most effectively for your situation.

Tool Takes Effect Can Be Reduced? Can Be Increased / Removed? Currency
Deposit Limit Immediately Yes — immediately Yes — after mandatory waiting period (typically 7 days) PKR
Loss Limit Immediately Yes — immediately Yes — after mandatory waiting period PKR
Wager Limit Immediately Yes — immediately Yes — after mandatory waiting period PKR
Session Time Limit Next session Yes — immediately Yes — after a short cooling period Minutes / Hours
Cooling-Off Period Immediately N/A No — cannot be shortened once active Hours / Days / Weeks
Self-Exclusion (Timed) Immediately N/A Only after the exclusion period has fully expired Months
Self-Exclusion (Permanent) Immediately N/A Cannot be reversed under any circumstances Permanent
Tip: We recommend setting deposit and loss limits as a baseline before you start playing — even if the amounts feel comfortable now. Having a pre-set ceiling removes the temptation to override your own judgment in the heat of a session.

Recognising Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can develop gradually. Many people do not realise something has shifted until it is already affecting their finances, relationships or mental wellbeing. The following warning signs are worth taking seriously — if several of them apply to you, it may be time to use one of the protection tools above or speak to someone.

01

Spending more money on gambling than you originally planned, or depositing more after hitting a limit you had informally set for yourself.

02

Chasing losses — returning to the Platform with the intention of winning back money you have already lost, especially with larger bets than usual.

03

Gambling with money allocated for essential expenses such as rent, groceries, school fees or utility bills — in cities like Karachi or Lahore where living costs are significant.

04

Feeling restless, irritable or anxious when you are unable to gamble, or feeling compelled to gamble to relieve stress or negative emotions.

05

Lying to family members or friends about how much time or money you spend gambling, or keeping gambling activity secret from those close to you.

06

Borrowing money — from family, friends or any financial service — specifically to fund gambling activity, or selling possessions to raise gambling funds.

07

Gambling taking priority over work, study, family commitments or other activities that previously mattered to you, or noticing it affect your daily performance or relationships.

Quick Self-Assessment

Answer honestly. If you tick three or more of the boxes below, we strongly encourage you to activate a cooling-off period or self-exclusion, or to contact our support team to discuss your options.

Have you experienced any of the following in the past 30 days?

I spent more on gambling than I had planned or could afford.

I tried to win back money I had lost by continuing to play.

I gambled to escape from worry, stress or a difficult situation at home or work.

I hid my gambling activity or the amount I spent from family or friends.

I borrowed money or sold something to fund gambling.

Gambling left me feeling guilty, anxious or depressed.

I thought about gambling frequently even when I was not playing.

I neglected responsibilities — work, family or finances — because of gambling.

If you ticked three or more: Please activate a cooling-off period or contact our support team at [email protected] right away. Our team can walk you through self-exclusion options and is available 24/7.

Age Verification & Underage Access

Access to 666m is strictly limited to adults aged 18 or above, or the higher minimum age required by the operator or license jurisdiction. We apply robust identity verification checks during the registration process to confirm that every user meets this requirement before they can deposit funds or place any wager.

As part of our KYC (Know Your Customer) process, we may request a copy of your Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC), passport or other government-issued photo identification to verify your date of birth and identity. Accounts that cannot be verified will be suspended until verification is complete. Any account found to belong to a person under the applicable minimum age will be closed immediately and all funds returned to the originating payment source.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a minor in your household has registered an account on 666m — perhaps using a device in Rawalpindi, Faisalabad or elsewhere — please contact us immediately at [email protected] so that we can investigate and take action without delay.

We also recommend that parents and guardians use device-level parental controls and internet filtering software to prevent minors from accessing any online gambling platform. Supervision of shared devices used by younger family members is equally important.

Getting Help & Support

You do not have to manage a gambling problem alone. The following guidance outlines how to reach 666m's support team and how to find recognised help resources. All communications with our responsible gambling team are handled discreetly and without judgment.

666m Support Team

Our support team is available 24/7 to help you activate any protection tool, initiate a self-exclusion, or simply talk through your concerns. Contact us at [email protected]. Responses are available in English; Urdu support is available on request.

Talk to Someone You Trust

Sometimes the most effective first step is a conversation with a trusted family member, friend or colleague. If you are not ready to contact a formal support service, sharing your concerns with someone close to you in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad or wherever you are can be a meaningful starting point.

Professional Counselling

Mental health professionals and counsellors who specialise in behavioural addiction are available in major Pakistani cities. Consulting a qualified professional is advisable if gambling has significantly affected your finances, relationships or mental health. Your GP or a local health facility is a good first point of contact.

Financial Guidance

If gambling has created financial difficulties, speaking with a financial adviser or a bank representative — at HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank, Bank Alfalah or another institution — about debt management or budgeting support may help stabilise your situation before seeking further gambling-specific support.

Community & Religious Support

Community organisations, mosques and welfare bodies across Pakistan provide support networks for individuals and families facing financial or behavioural difficulties. These community-level resources can be especially valuable in cities like Peshawar, Multan and Faisalabad where formal clinical services may be more limited.

Operator Responsible Gambling Programme

666m operates under an international licensing framework that mandates responsible gambling standards. Where the license jurisdiction provides access to a recognised responsible gambling programme or national self-exclusion register, we will honour requests submitted through those channels in addition to our own Platform tools.

Note on External Resources: 666m does not link to external websites. If you require information about a specific responsible gambling support organisation relevant to the operator's license jurisdiction, please contact our support team at [email protected] and we will provide relevant guidance by return.

Gambling Responsibly — Practical Guidelines

The following guidelines are not just good advice — they reflect habits that genuinely make a difference to whether gambling remains a fun activity or becomes a problem. 666m encourages all users to apply these principles on every session.

  • Set a budget before you start — decide in advance exactly how much PKR you are comfortable spending during that session, and treat it as an entertainment expense, not an investment.
  • Never chase losses — if you have reached your budget limit for the day, stop. Trying to recover losses by continuing to play is the single most common way a manageable session becomes a harmful one.
  • Take regular breaks — step away from the screen at intervals, especially during long cricket matches or extended casino sessions. A 10-minute break helps you reassess your session objectively.
  • Keep gambling separate from other finances — use a dedicated balance on the Platform rather than dipping into money set aside for bills, groceries or savings.
  • Avoid gambling under the influence — alcohol, stress or emotional upset all impair judgment. These are the worst conditions under which to make betting decisions.
  • Balance gambling with other activities — if cricket betting during the PSL season or a World Cup tournament starts to feel like an obligation rather than a choice, that is a signal worth paying attention to.
  • Never borrow to gamble — this applies whether borrowing from friends, family or any financial product. Gambling with borrowed money dramatically increases the potential for financial harm.
Gambling Is Safe When…
  • You spend only what you can genuinely afford to lose.
  • It is one of several leisure activities in your life, not the primary one.
  • You are playing for entertainment, not to make money or solve financial problems.
  • You can stop at any time without feeling compelled to continue.
  • Your gambling activity is transparent to those close to you.
Gambling Becomes Risky When…
  • You are spending money you cannot afford to lose.
  • It is becoming your main source of entertainment or emotional release.
  • You are placing bets in an attempt to recover previous losses.
  • You feel anxious, irritable or preoccupied when not gambling.
  • You are concealing your gambling from family members or close friends.

Play Smart. Stay in Control.

666m is here for entertainment — cricket betting, live casino, slots and sports markets — all in PKR, all with your protection tools always within reach. Set your limits before your next session.
